Self Study Programs

Self study students may begin their program at any time, all year long, enrol risk free (see below) and may exchange courseware within the first week of receipt without incurring additional fees, provided courses are returned, at their cost, in saleable condition. Fee structures may vary throughout the year, depending on when a student begins.

Enrol Risk Free in self study programs. If you are not satisfied upon review of your self study programs, your money is refunded — no questions asked — provided you contact us within one week of receipt of materials and return those materials at your cost in saleable condition within that week. You may view the online material as well, but if you complete the quizzes or case studies beyond the first chapter in your course, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.

Early Registration, Fee Schedules and Instalment Plans

Four times during an academic year, students have the opportunity for early registration. Certain discounts may apply from time to time. Check website for such opportunities and to enrol online. While these dates may be subject to change, in general, they are as follows:

Instalment Payment Plans.

NSF Fees.

A $45 fee will be assessed on each NSF or declined charge card payment. This can be avoided by paying the balance of tuition owing in full by credit card.

Refund Policy. The Knowledge Bureau offers a one week trial period – no questions asked Money Back Guarantee if self study courses are not suitable for any reason. Thereafter no refunds, however, consideration may be given under our hardship policy, below. All refunds are subject to an administrative charge of $195.00. Students who pay by instalment also forfeit their instalment charges. Note that when a student chooses to return some courses under our trial period, after enrolling in a designation program, pricing schedules will be adjusted upward to reflect the correct volume discount.

Hardship Policy. In the case of severe hardship, including illness, illness of a family member or death of a family member, students must write a letter to the Registrar outlining reasons for the request. Course completion deadlines are extended based on mutual discussion of a reasonable restart date. If the period exceeds one year, students may be required to re-purchase updated course materials at the lowest price point at that time. Normal refund policies will apply in case of withdrawals.

Withdrawals. All refunds after the one-week trial period are subject to an administrative charge of $195.00. Students who pay by instalment also forfeit their instalment charges. Note that when a student chooses to return some courses under our trial period, after enrolling in a designation program, pricing schedules will be adjusted upward to reflect the correct volume discount. Note administrative charges can be applied to future course purchases within one year of withdrawal.
