The Knowledge Bureau is a certified educational institute providing training at a post-secondary level in the field of tax accounting and financial services.

The Knowledge Bureau’s specialty is providing busy practitioners in the financial services with convenient multi-media self-study courses, in-company classroom training, and Knowledge Bureau Education Days (workshops and conferences). Our Distinguished Faculty is also available to speak and instruct to customized programming we develop and implement for in-company programs developed by our private clients.

Our curriculum has been approved by departments of education across Canada plus the HRDC. This has lead to The Knowledge Bureau’s certification as a national educational institute, allowing our tuition fees to qualify for the Tuition, Education and Textbook Credit under Sections 118.5 and 118.6 of the Income Tax Act.

On the professional side, we provide continuing professional development and staff training to accountants, bookkeepers, tax practitioners, investment and financial advisors, leading to certification and voluntary designation. Courses from The Knowledge Bureau have been endorsed by a number of accrediting bodies in the tax and financial services industries resulting in CE credits

In addition, advisors may choose to earn a voluntary designation to enhance their professional credentials. The Distinguished Financial Advisor (DFA) and Master Financial Advisor (MFA) designations are the flagships of our educational line up.
