"The DFA, Tax Services Specialist stream of courses teach not only the practical application of tax legislation and interpretation, but also what is probably the most advantageous skill set: How to Think. The courses give you the information required, but not on a platter. You need to develop the ability to think in order to apply the lessons learned in a practical manner.

Exposure to the resources and faculty of the Knowledge Bureau has helped us to be seen as a specialist and a leader in our field, especially for prospective clients of The Accounting Place. This top-of-mind presence, combined with word of mouth referrals creates a synergistic effect to the benefit of The Accounting Place's reputation within the public and industry.

Through continuing education with The Knowledge Bureau, the staff of The Accounting Place have confidence in their abilities and the training to follow through on their convictions. Our clients benefit from high levels of service and our ability to follow through, regardless of the size or magnitude of their individual problem. And, through the application of that knowledge and confidence in our abilities, The Accounting Place has been able to rocket to the top as "the" tax specialists in the Hamilton area. Through constant word of mouth exposure, our practice now spans from coast-to-coast."

"The knowledge I have gained from the courses in the DFA, Bookkeeping Services Specialist Program has made it possible to give my clients service far above that of a regular bookkeeper. The step up to managerial concepts and advising capabilities has made me more valuable to my clients and allowed my business to grow through referrals.

As an instructor for accounting and office technologies at a local community college, the knowledge I have gained has greatly enhanced my teaching and allows me to delve deeper into topics brought up by students.

Overall, receiving this designation has allowed me to provide much better service to my clients, and in turn, my clients receive the advice and information they need to make informed business decisions."
