DFA Designation

MFA Designation

Master Financial Advisor

The MFA designation signifies completion of advanced training in retirement income planning, estate planning and investment planning services. The Knowledge Bureau has developed an educational platform designed specifically to prepare a team of professional advisors to work in tandem towards client-centric solutions. The underlying focus of the team is stewardship in Real Wealth Management™.

By definition, to be the client's Chief Financial Steward, or Real Wealth Manager™, one must be professionally qualified to manage wealth on an after-tax, after-cost, intergenerational basis. This includes the ability to develop a strategic plan in meeting the client's specific wants and needs, and then managing a team of well-chosen specialists to implement the plan.

An MFA designation can be obtained in the following areas of specialty:

Retirement Income Services Specialist

Retirement income planning services are likely the most important of all the financial services. The mission is to provide the client with peace of mind while accomplishing the following:

  • The funding of after-tax income to finance specific needs of the retiree and his/her spouse throughout their remaining lives.
  • The management of capital accumulations to finance additional wants
  • The after-tax preservation of remaining capital for continued use by various family members and/or the community

The Retirement Income Services Specialist is the professional who has the deep understanding required to manage the entire period of transition from personal economic activity to full retirement to end of retirement (death), with, and for the client.
