Prerequisites:
For most successful results in certificate courses, students should have a high school standing and
existing employment or entrepreneurship within the tax, accounting, bookkeeping or financial services or
designation, certification, or license to practice in the industry sector or
at least three years experience in the industry sector
Continuing Education and Standards of Conduct for MFA and DFA graduates
Distinguished Financial Advisors and Master Financial Advisors practice with the highest skills sets for obtaining accountable results as well as top standards of professional conduct.
This includes:
- Successful completion of the six chosen educational programs offered by The Knowledge Bureau.
- At least 3 years' experience in professional practice, or evidence of apprenticeship to a professional practice upon being certified;
- At least 12 hours of study in issues-based knowledge subjects from the Knowledge Bureau courseware list, annually;
- Good standing under other professional designations; professional licensing;
- No criminal convictions or any unethical conduct.
Deficiencies in any of the above areas can result in withdrawal of certification marks.
