Ozy Camacho

Ozy started her career with The Globe and Mail.  In 1979, The Globe was the first newspaper in the world to have the newspaper available online at the same time it was delivered to homes.   Ozy was part of that team.

In 1994, as the mutual fund industry was just starting to take off, Ozy joined Investment Executive officially as Sales Director, but since the whole team consisted of three staff members, that meant that she was responsible for circulation,  administration, and accounting.

In 1999, Investment Executive was sold to Transcontinental Media, a Quebec media company, which allowed IE to launch Finance et Investissement, a Francophone sister publication that today reaches more than 30,000 Quebec financial professionals.  Ozy was an integral part of the launch of FI.

Ozy is an entrepreneur at heart and is always looking for better ways to serve the financial community in Canada.  In addition to launching FI, she launched CE Place,  an aggregator of continuing education  courses for advisors; IE:Money and Canadian Investment Guide magazines to help advisors educate their clients, and mobile apps and iPad editions to ensure that we reach the next generation of financial professionals.

In 2013, Ozy was promoted to Publisher of both Investment Executive and Finance et Investissement.
