SESSION OVERVIEW:
While women have traditionally faced several obstacles in accumulating wealth, they are now poised to directly control over one third of the assets in the Canadian economy in the next decade. Advisors who understand emerging financial needs and objectives for women - from millennials to boomers and older - can provide high value advice to a new demographic of wealth holders.
APPROACH:
While women still earn less than men in 95% of occupations, their approach to their education, careers, entrepreneurship and investing is helping them build both income and wealth. A woman's earnings in families now accounts for almost half of family income. Most important, women are expected to be responsible for a significant rise in their wealth holdings over the next decade.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
In this course you will learn about eight specific issues women face, and potential solutions you can discuss in order to have more valuable discussions in the decision-making process.
LEARNING ACTIVITIES: To test the learning process, the student will answer multiple-choice questions and contemplate the role of the advisor.
* Upon completion of each course, print your certificate from the Certification tab.
