If you are someone who enjoys nature… then Canopy River is for you!! Come and walk into the heart of the rainforest of the Sierra Madre Mountains just few minutes away from downtown Puerto Vallarta. Experience the adventure surrounded by a dense and exotic forest on our zip lines gliding side by side in a beautiful canyon on the Rio Cuale. Come and dare to adventure side by side with our highly trained guides, they will accompany you throughout the tour where you can experience a wonderful wildlife in the best place to appreciate it, Canopy Adventure River.

  • Cameras are not allowed during the tour.

ATV $139US +taxes: Have a fun driving through villages, plantations and rivers. Your tour begins with a safety briefing and a short practice before heading out through the quiet outlying villages of Puerto Vallarta. After a water and restroom break, the tour splashes through the first river and dives into the vast plantations and farmlands as you head further up into the countryside.

Forging through the sands of the river banks, guests take a break at the base of the Sierra Madre Mountains for a quick taste of Mexican food and culture (Tequila Tour).

  • An acknowledgement of risk must be signed prior to tour.
  • Drivers under 18 years old won’t be able to drive, they must ride on the back of a vehicles.
  • Credit card for extra damage charges in guarantee per motorcycle will be required before departure
  • Please wear sneakers, closed toe shoes or Teya style sandals are recommended, NO SANDALS.
  • We suggest you to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting all muddy and wet.
  • You are welcome to bring your camera, although please know it may get wet and muddy.

​Mexican Cooking Class

Encounter the authentic flavors, the aromas, the spices, the life, the culture, folklore and history of our beloved México and the magnificent flavors of our authentic home cuisine.

This cooking experience is totally interactive and designed for you to experience and to learn to cook the authentic Mexican home recipes that are our favorites to share and enjoy in our family reunions and special events.

We invite you to discover the roots of the Mexican cuisine, the history and traditions behind the dishes, the indigenous ingredients, the aromas, the origins, the spices and the way to handle them.

Pick up at the lobby of the hotel. (Pick- up time can be modified according to client needs)

1:30 PM.

Arrival to Canopy River location.

1:45 PM

We start the class; and the Master chef will provide cultural and historical information about Mexico’s cuisine, its elements and its origins. At the cooking class all the attendants will participate in a hands-on class for: various salsas and guacamoles, handmade Tortillas, Tamales and Chiles rellenos, dessert is Chef’s choice.

2:15 PM - 3:00 PM.

Lunch time
