Average Tax Refund Increases in 2013
CRA answered close to 3 million calls this past tax filing season, and 20 million—or over 76% of tax filers—filed electronically this year, an increase of 17% over last year.
In addition, the average tax refund so far is $1641, an increase of $22 per person. This is largely due to the new Family Caregiver Amount, according to CRA.
