Given the current economic environment, it's a good time to monitor interest rates. The Bank of Canada recently released its 2012 schedule of eight dates for announcing decisions on its key policy interest rate and confirmed the announcement dates for the remainder of this year. The announcement dates from September 2011 through December 2012 are:
