New Online Notice of Assessment Service for Small Businesses

CRA continues to help Canadians use more electronic services.

The Honourable Kerry-Lynne D. Findlay, P.C., Q.C., M.P., Minister of National Revenue, announced a new mail service on September 6 for Canadian small businesses that will help simplify their interactions with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

Those who sign up for the new service will be able to receive their notices of assessment and reassessment and letters from the CRA electronically. They can also be assured that their information is secure, as the CRA uses similar protections to those of other online financial services.

The new service should prove to be more time efficient and less costly than using the old paper and snail-mail method of correspondence with the CRA.
